Toddling at Toddlerfest!

It’s raining, it’s pouring… no-one in my house was snoring!! Sunday morning were awoken at a cool 5am by our dear little Orlando. With the weather terrible outside it was decided that we would head to Toddlerfest at scitech for a play date with his bestie Frankii.

As soon as we stepped foot in the door Frankii and Orlando were off! The first attraction was a construction site where they enjoyed wearing their worker helmets and pushing wheelbarrows full of foam blocks up and down the ramps of the construction site.

Frankii and Orlando’s highlight for the day would have to have been the Animal Farm where they saw baby piglets, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and so much more!!

We then went around to the Toddler explore area where Frankii enjoyed learning about different shapes and sounds while Orlando was straight onto the cars. The kids had fun playing on the slides and crawling through the different climbing frames.

At 11am it was time to go down to the Planetarium (special show for toddlers) and learn about the constellations. Both Frankii and Orlando were amazed as they shouted “moon” and “stars” pointing in all directions around the room

We finished our morning off in the Magnificent Me section with some drawing and learning about different textures and feelings.

We will definitely be back next year!!
